Ryan’s professional career started in 2009 when he obtained a finance major at the University of Windsor. Prior to starting his accounting designation, he started his own window cleaning business, served in the Canadian Armed Forces where he was awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee and worked at a local accounting firm in Victoria BC. It was working at the local firm where Ryan found his niche for providing exceptional service for owner-managed businesses.
In 2018, Ryan completed his practical experience and earned his CPA designation working at a mid-size firm. During this time, Ryan continued to focus on owner-managed businesses, but expanded his range of clients to midsize private companies, First Nation communities, municipalities and not-for-profit groups. Ryan has significant financial reporting experience under ASPE, ASNPO and PSAS.
In addition to accounting services, Ryan also provides valuable tax planning and advisory services for private companies and their shareholders that aims to take advantage of tax savings opportunities as well as improve the accounting systems and internal controls of an organization.
Ryan is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, Chartered Professional Accountants of NWT/NU, and in 2019 he obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner designation as well. Ryan has successfully completed the prestigious in-depth tax program offered by CPA Canada.
Outside of work, Ryan spends time with his loving family and volunteers on a number of boards.

Tony is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, and NWT/NU.
After graduating from the accounting program at the University of Calgary in 2012, Tony began his accounting designation working at a local in Calgary firm in 2013 where he focused primarily on accounting and taxation issues related to owner-managed businesses.
After passing all the professional exams in 2014, Tony progressed to a mid-size firm and finally completed his accounting designation at a Big-4 firm in Vancouver in 2017. During this time, Tony continued to provide accounting, assurance, tax and advisory services to owner-managed companies, but expanded expanded his client base by working with mid to large private companies and not-for-profit groups. In 2019, Tony started his own consulting firm and merged his practice with Ryan Livesey in 2021 after the two partners found that their personalities and goals were a great fit.
Throughout his career, Tony has worked with companies that report under IFRS, ASPE and ASNPO and applied these standards to companies that operate in retail, manufacturing, technology, property management, junior oil gas, and not-for-profits. Aside from financial reporting, Tony has extensive experience working with owner-managed companies where he helps small business owners understand how accounting, corporate taxation, and personal taxation so that they can see the big picture.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys travelling and is self professed foodie. Luckily, he was able to combine these passions along with his career by travelling to his clients that have operations in Alberta, British Columbia and Northern Canada.

Prior to starting his professional career in accounting, Max served in the Canadian Armed Forces, Naval Reserve Division. While serving part-time, he completed his Bachelor of Technology in Accounting at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2013.
In October 2014, Max started his practical experience with a mid-size firm in Vancouver, British Columbia primarily focusing on small business clients and personal tax returns. Once completed his practical experience and achieving his CPA, CGA designation, he continued working for the mid-size firm providing sound tax planning solutions to his small business and personal tax clients.
In 2021, Max joined Livesey Shen LLP as a partner helping provide solutions to our most complex business and personal tax clients.
Max is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
Outside of work, enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring beautiful British Columbia with his family.
